ALTIMATE victorious as Symantec name their Security Distributors of choice

Velizy, France  28 March 2011 - ALTIMATE were notified they have been successful in their bid to retain their rights to distribute the Symantec Enterprise Security portfolio in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and The UK.

Following a rigorous tender process that began in January , ALTIMATE completed  written RFPs, followed by presentations to senior board at the Symantec Head Office in Belgium, France, Spain and UK. This Request for Proposal came as a result of a Symantec initiative to cut their previous number of distributors in order to streamline and inject value back in to the channel. The bid includes the rights to Symantec Data Loss Prevention, Control Compliance Suite as well as the recently acquired PGP.
ALTIMATE Group is now a key player in the Security Distribution, the Enterprise Security suites and Endpoint Management products form a strong security message that is sure to sit well with their partners and translate well to their customers
