The company strengthens its position in Iberia, in the security market.

Vélizy, 5 December 2008 – The ALTIMATE Group, a distributor of IT infrastructure solutions in Europe, has announced the acquisition of the Spanish company Mambo Technology, a computer security and communications distributor. With this acquisition, the ALTIMATE Group is continuing its drive for development through external growth. Mambo technology is the 6th acquisition since 2004.

Mambo is well recognized on the Iberia market as specialized and value added distributor for technology solutions as Airspan, Allot, Expand (Compass), Fortinet, Infoblox, Lumension, Radware and TippingPoint Technologie.  Its sales forecast for 2008 is in the region of 11 million Euros for a workforce of 18 people.

According to Alexis Brabant, Mambo Technology President: “Mambo has successfully developed its activity the last years, the combination of our portfolio and knowledge fused with ALTIMATE strengths will bring us tremendous opportunities”.
